Crochet: Beyond the Square tree decorations are up and they are looking…
Mighty Fine!
They aren’t up on the Christmas tree, but on my little Wishing Tree.
If you have any wishes you would like to make…
let me know
and I will place a motif on the tree for you.
Let’s see
if we can’t make a few wishes come true!

Your motifs are beautiful! This is a very clever way to display them. 🙂
Thank you. It’s actually nice to see them up, I normally stash them away in a box until I nedd them.

Oh wow! They look so beautiful all hung up on the branches! I wondered what you’d do with them all… This is perfect, Heidi.
Thanks Michele…but that’s not all, but you will have to wait till next week to see what I did with some of the other motifs 😀
I really like the idea for a christsmas tree I could put in my mother’s room now she is in a home.
Did you paint the twigs in black or does it come naturally in your part of the world?
I love you craft and should really go back to needle work!!
Hey there Catherine,
Thank you for stopping by Sewing daisies.
re: Branches. They were originally silver glittery plastic ones that I spray painted black.
I imagine (spray) painting real ones would work just as well. They are incredibly handy to have around. They look great on their own, but I like to jazz them up each season etc.
I hope your mother enjoys her branches this Christmas!

Hello I just learned about wishing tree’s today. A good friend of mine passed away and in her will she left me a wishing tree. Browsing online, I came across your tree. It’s my favorite! So beautiful! 🙂
What a beautiful gift to receive Angela, you are very lucky to have known her. xh
