Crochet: In eye of the Dragon is my latest attempt at shawl making…
Didn’t you just crochet one last week?
Yep, but that one was all fluffy & light.
This one is very different.
How so?
erm…it’s not fluffy & light.
(sigh)…amateur bloggers.
Do you want to know why it isn’t fluffy & light?
I did but…
That’s easy really, instead of using a light, bright & airy yarn
I used a Panda 8ply cotton blend yarn.
It’s lovely stuff to work with,
but definitely weightier than the Fauxhair…and it’s also
Khaki.
Khaki?! What’s up with that?
Bargain Bin.
Ahh I see, you were temporarily blinded by the
cheapskate within.
In my defence, the label says it’s ‘Taupe’.
Right…
Anyhoo, cheapskate or not, my Dragon Shawl is very
“on trend”.
Have you not noticed all the khaki in the shops?!
Just look around.
I will take your word for it.
Fashion trends aside, do you like it?
I do, it’s warm & it’s fashionable…
Check it out!
What do you think?

Very fashionable and I just love khaki.
Thank you Sharon…D only realised last night that he hadn’t handed over the package so Mission Knitting Bag is temporarily on hold.
xxh
That looks warm and snuggly! Very nice!
It’s fantastic and I love the ‘Taupe’
I like this very much. I really need to get my hands on cotton thread.
I love it! It is lovely.
I like khaki… Is there a problem with khaki? … I think your shawl is darn pretty in khaki. So there. 🙂
It’s elegant yet quirky with the dangling shamrock trim. If ‘taupe’ was kakhi…..which is green?? it could be a sophisticated St. Patricks day garment!!
