Paper Art: Printing Fir Cones
A few weeks back,
I was introduced to the wonderful art of
Screen Printing
at
the Craft & Quilt Show.
It is surprisingly easy to do.
To successfully
screen print, all you need is;
paint
fabric
& a screen
it's that simple!
oh yes, and you need
an image to print onto
your fabric.
My screen is in the post
(I hope)
so no printing can be done yet,
but I have created a
little stencil.
It's a Fir Cone!
Come on,
It's my first attempt at 'proper' drawing.
It sort of looks like a fir cone…
doesn't it?!
Hmmm…
maybe it will look better when it's
screen printed.
We will have to wait and see!

looks darn well like a cone to me! It’s graphic and I like it!
Looks like a great cone to me can’t wait to see it printed
PHEW! I was really worried I would be the only person to see the ‘cone’.
Now if only my screen would arrive I could get on with some printing 🙂
