3M: Mollie Makes Strawberries
(issue two)
Is the first Mollie Makes project for my new feature 3M:
You know the one…
3M:
Martha Stewart
Mollie Makes
Made by You
Mmmmm…strawberries.

Strawberries?
A little off your beaten track isn’t it?
It is.
I usually prefer to make things I can use
around the house.
or hang…
that too.
But my 2012 goal is to try out new things,
as you said
“To get off my beaten track”
But Strawberries?
Ahh but they aren’t just strawberries, they are
pincushions too.
Well, they are if you follow Mollie Makes directions.
But I already have tonnes of those,
so I have tweaked things to suit me.
(as usual)
Let me guess;
you are using them as hanging ornaments?
Erm…yes.
(Mental note: try to be less predictable in 2012)
I love the fabric you have used.
I do too, the 1930’s feel vibe is gorgeous.
The fabric designer is Mary Engelbreit (for Moda)
‘ Recipe for friendship’
in case you were wondering.

Did you make the strawberry tops,
or are they store bought.
The roses are store bought. They are left-overs from
SEW Hip! Ruffled Baby Booties,
remember those?
I do.
They were made out of the same fabric as
the background in above photo.
Correct!
and the ribbon is recycled
from the stash of presents we got at Christmas.
Thank you Charlotte!

I hope you enjoyed
Mollie Makes Strawberries
as much as I have.
