The other day,
I was introduced to a new flower; the Eriostemon
It’s an Australian native (East coast)
that has a delicate scent of pine,
& the cutest little pinky white 5 star
petaled flowers.
(it’s really pretty!)
The florist (@Pearsons)
allowed me to fiddle with a piece of Eriostemon.
This stuff is surprisingly pliable.
I fell in love instantly.
In that same instant,
I also realized my new ‘favourite’ flower would
be perfect for a Spring table.
(yes, yes)
So as soon as I got home,
I set about creating a lovely flower ring
for my Ikea candle holder.
Ikea + flowers = Happy Heidi
Thanks to the Eriostemon’s bendiness, & a little floral wire,
I had a Spring arrangement in no time.
(woohoo!)
All I need to do now is think of what to do with the
99.37%
of the bunch, that’s left over.
(hmm…)

delicious work. thank you for sharing it here. I’d love to get hold of them… so so sooo lovely!
Aren’t they gorgeous?! I don;t know how easy they are to get outside of Australia, but your local florist should be able to help.
