Happy Holidays 2014

Happy Holidays!!

I can’t believe we are nearly at the end of 2014.

I know I say it every year, but I am sure each year flies by faster than the previous.  Which is not great news for me as at the beginning of each new year I have a a VERY long list of things I wish to learn.

For example, 2014 was the year I was supposed to learn how to use InDesign and Illustrator, AND hone my Photoshop skills.

That didn’t happen.

Well, that’s not strictly true. I started dipping into Illustrator when I signed up to the  ‘Make It In Design‘ course in October, and I went into photoshop today to tinker with today’s photo.

However, I have managed to stay on track with my #365CREATE project. I am now on Day:317  which is fairly decent for a slacker.

So, I may not have blogged, knitted, crocheted or sewed much, but thanks to #365CREATE I am now drawing (sometimes badly), making my own rubber stamps, rediscovering screen printing and dreaming of being a printmaker (& surface pattern designer).

I guess 2014 hasn’t been a complete loss.

Happy Holidays - see you in 2015
